I truly believe that everyone wants to help society when they have the opportunity. Maybe in the form of donations or volunteering to various funds or foundations. So do I. I think that once we get it, we have to give it too. The more you give, the more you receive (but don’t expect it too far, I don’t want you to be disappointed, haha) so I have a little jar to always remind myself to give. I do not use a banknote or coin that is less than 100 Thai baht when they left on the pocket, I’ll keep in a jar for donation. I think that the value of giving it is last in your mind. You have children then teach them. Giving is important to this world regardless of the type you give, not just money or things. Giving time, friendship, love, good feeling. Say hello to each other for just 5 seconds. Be honest. Give responsibility Everything is considered a good thing. It is giving.

Why do I create this project?

I started from I want to create a small project. That is helping society Last year, thought about if I start to do small new business. But, after thinking of just doing it for myself, it has appeared that I have no motivation to do it. I always procrastinate and get the excuse for not doing. And that my plan had been laid down.

When there is no inspiration for my personal projects. I changed my focus to do other things. I spent most of my time on my 9-5 full-time job. This dedication caused me back pain and office syndrome after I was working in front of the screen for more than 8 hours per day, which is not good at all. I always think to myself that I must live a more balanced and careful life. I should bring back something that I love to do and want to take my spare time on it. This will fill my soul and then somehow a physical strength

I interested in a social enterprise business that may start from what I like and makes it works while I can still do my hobbies. I love to create something good. Drawing is one of them. Therefore, I have the idea to create this project. This project started with a small idea. The target also a small target which is to achieve 10,000 baht fundraising, which is not much for some people. But I want to find opportunities to spark people to give and to do some good deeds together a little every day, and making society better in some way.

Where will the income go?

This is really my first time to raise 10,000 baht. For some people, which is not a lot of money but when looking at that, I started this project from scratch I started with only a small idea. I am nobody. It is quite difficult for me to raise this amount of money. I am not good at speak nor being good at promoting anything. I must utilize my ability to build confidence and do anything I can and have never done before to make this project successful. This is not going to be as easy as selling a consumer product or a dining buffet.

Funds received from the project will be deducted the cost, plus money of my piggy bank will be donated to charity projects.

It takes me a long time to choose the project which I will donate. Start with what to support. I wanted to select a small project. A small group of people like Su Backpacker. She creates medical volunteer camps. This group of people will access many poor and barren villages located in rural areas of Thailand. I think that their sacrificing time and personal comfort to volunteer for others is very admirable. I, therefore, thought that I would support their activities with whatever they lacked. Also, her house is not far from my home when this project is completed, it will not be difficult to support anything.

Why do I think it is necessary to support a medical volunteer camp?

I think it’s very important for people to approach people in the village where far from the city. To provide some health knowledge and other basic knowledge to people in remote areas. To help them live their life appropriately. It would be terrible to meet someone who was ill and obviously they could not get to the medical facility and not receiving proper treatment. Teacher Su said that at some area no access to a road, they would have to walk for 10 kilometers off-road and rough. There is no electricity, clean water, sometimes they saw patients in bed with bedsore and had not been treated for months. She must perform surgery to clean the wound. It’s really to find someone who can sacrifice for this work without thinking about what to get in return. You might think why not donating to other big group of foundations. For me, I think that the foundation out there, maybe they lack of funds somehow but there are still big group of people who know and support. They have good management already. So that is why I chose to support a smaller group.

Whom will you donate on behalf?

I will donate on behalf of everyone who supports this project. I would not have an official receipt and will not be deducting personal income taxes for anyone. As I have described, I would like to go for a small group of people who act and volunteer to reach and help directly with the remote community in rural areas. I will try to update donation activities as much as possible on my facebook page for the transparency.
